A long and wonderful summer...

At Hershey Park on the train.
Here they are with the Hershey Bar.
Cecilia on the Whip.

Lila and Emma on the Whip.

It has been so long since I have posted anything. What a great summer it has been for us! After the great princess room makeover we seemed to be constantly busy doing something!

Cecilia spent 3 weeks throughout the summer in school camps and she just loved them! It was nice for her to be in the routine of school and not forget over the summer. It was also nice for Mommy to have some time with the little ones too. Emma took a gymnastics camp at the Palmer Community Center and she LOVED it! I wasn't even able to take her shoes off of her and get a good-bye kiss before she was running away to get started. her teachers were fabulous and she would get so excited when we pulled in the parking lot! Lila was just Lila and didn't do any camps this year as she is only 2 years old...maybe next summer. Other than that, the girls spent lots of nights sleeping at Ahnie and Pop-Pop's house (and loving every second of it!) and swimming. We made leaps and bounds in swimming this summer! All 3 girls LOVE to swim, with their vests on of course. Lila and Cecilia will jump in and go underwater and have so much fun but Emma is still a little nervous about that. Cecilia has also started taking off her vest and trying to swim on her own. I'm so very proud of her. Lila likes to float on her back, just like her Mom-Mom used to do : ) I wish we would have had more pool time this summer but I suppose there is always next year!

We also took day trips to both Knoebel's and Hershey Park. Our trip to Knoebel's was a BLAST! We went with Ahnie and our friends Cindy and Crystale, and Kristi, Peter and their girls. Everyone had a wonderful time! We rode rides all day long and the girls lovede them. I was really surprised how much my girls liked to ride rides! The bigger the better for them. It was hysterical! The same went for our trip to Hershey. We went with my Dad and my cousin Steph. It was another amazing day. The girls had an awesome time and loved every second of being there. Unfortunately, Hershey seems to be uphill, no matter what direction you walk so it was a little bit tougher on us because we were pushing strollers with children in them all day long. No matter the hills or the heat,we had a great time at both parks...especially because of the company we had both times...and we cannot wait to go back next summer!

Soon, both of our big girls will be starting school. Cecilia will be going to preschool 3 days a week and Emma will be in the 2 day class. They are both very excited about starting school this fall and I cannot wait either...not because I want to have a few hours of peace but because I'm so excited for them to start learning and making new friends! It is amazing how much and how quickly they grow! Cecilia is writing her name by herself now and just gets more grown up ever day. Emma has suddenly started counting in Spanish (thank you Dora and Sesame Street). I cannot wait to see what they will learn next!

All in all it has been a great summer and we feel very blessed for all that we have and have been able to do! We are so lucky to have such an amazing family and wonderful friends.

I would also like to thank my friend, Adrienne, for making the beautiful header for my blog. She is a very busy mother of 3 little ones and she still managed to find time to make this for us and I just love it! Thank you Adrienne!
