Today's post is not a happy one for our family. Early this morning we lost my grandfather, Carmen "Bubbles" Cardinal. He finally gave in after fighting a long battle with Alzheimer's. Pop-Pop has been slowly deteriorating since Mom-Mom died. He held on for a really long time, God bless him, but he has finally been reunited with his love, Ruth May. Together, they are now watching over all of us and will be there to lend a guiding hand when we are in need. I am sure that they are so happy to be together again...I can almost hear them bickering already : )
Pop-Pop, know that we love you and we will all miss you...
